A Night of Stars and Style With Eastland Mall
SMILE on Down Syndrome is excited to announce A Night of Stars and Style in conjunction with Eastland Mall in celebration of March’s Disability Awareness Month. A Night of Stars and Style, a benefit for SMILE on Down Syndrome, will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Café Court at Eastland Mall. It will be a runway show pairing SMILE on Down Syndrome self-advocates with local celebrities to model fashions from Dillard’s. It will also include live music, a silent auction, food, and beverages.

Ticket reservations are now live for this event! Adult tickets = $10, child tickets= $5, and self-advocate tickets (non-models with disabilities)= $5. Payment can be mailed to PO Box 994, Newburgh, IN 47629 or can be paid night of at the check-in table. Contact SMILE on Down Syndrome Executive Director Nikki Davis via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via text at (812) 449-4118 to confirm how many reservations at each rate you need. SMILE is not setting a limit on tickets. There is limited seating, though, which will be first come first served, but we will have plenty of standing room as well to accommodate everyone at this exciting, can’t miss Disability Awareness Month event!!! SMILE on Down Syndrome is also currently seeking program ad sponsors and silent donation items.
Current scheduled participating celebrities include: Lloyd Winnecke, Carol McClintock, Missy Mosby, Doros Hadjisavva, Kat Mykals, Jonathon Weaver, Jacob Taylor, Nancy Drake, Sherry Wright, Heidi Gara, JoBeth Bootz, Brian Bennett, Victoria-Rae Baxter, Kana Brown, Alex Schmitt, Katie Watts, Michelle Mercer, Chris Ryan, and Tate Fritchley. Additional celebrity participant names to be shared with our media friends as they are confirmed.
Funds raised at the A Night of Stars and Style event will be used to provide enrichment services, financial aid, and parent support services to families in the Tri-State area with a loved one with Down syndrome. SMILE on Down Syndrome has also expanded its services to individuals with autism and other cognitive disabilities, so funds raised at the event will be used to enrich the lives of those self-advocates as well!
