- A 1-mile walk through the grounds of the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center
- Live entertainment
- Fun activities for children and self-advocates
- Vendor tables provided by event partners and sponsors
- Food Trucks
- Craft Exhibits
Why:
- To celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October
- To promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome
- To raise $100,000 that will fund S.M.I.L.E. on Down Syndrome programs serving hundreds of families in the Tri-state
How:
- Raise funds through corporate sponsorship and partners
- Encourage and challenge walkers and teams to fundraise
Who:
- All ages are welcome: children, young adults with Down syndrome, family members, friends, politicians, healthcare professionals, business leaders, high school and college students, fraternities, sororities, corporate teams and other community members.
- Expected attendance of 3,000 people
